Periodic workspace save has encountered a problem. Could not write metadata for /Project name

I already update -Xmx1024m

Sounds like your workspace could be corrupt. have you tried using the -clean command?

Also, does the problem persist in a new workspace as well?

I have tryed -clean. I have transfered the project as an archive to another directory and created a new workspace (although the idea of an archive is that it is transfering the same workspace:) ). Problem still exists. This same problem was occurring on Linux platform before. But I am on Windows XP. I can continue to do work but it is a real pain. I loose some changes ext.

I reinstalled MyeclipseIDE. Everything seems to be well so far. You can close this out.
