I have a big database and i want to print a er-diagram on paper.
My problem is that i want to define on how many page to print.now if i print the er-diagram it will print 40 pages…. this are to much
do somebody know how to do???
Moreover exporting the er-diagram in jpg is not working i recive a error message: java heap space
What I suggest as a very good solution in *general* when printing very large docs is to download PrimoPDF (free PDF Printer), install it, and then print your diagram to a PDF file, from there you can manipulate it as you wish and print out only the portions you like as well as hand it off to people in an easily viewable format.
I find this useful for printing huge documents, pictures and other resources that would otherwise be a pain to deal with.
