I just upgraded from MEB v8.6 to 10.7. I’m trying to reset up my environment, and I can’t seem to get the WebSphere Runtime library added to my Build Path. I don’t want to add the jars one at a time – I want to add the whole runtime environment, as shown in my attachment. The first example shows how it is configured in v8.6. That is how I want it. I’ve tried all the options in v10.7, and past adding the jar files one by one, I don’t see how to do it. Please advise.
    Thanks, Joyce

    Joyce,

Can you please follow these steps to add the jars to buildpath :

    1) Create User Library for WebSphere Runtime. Go to: Window -> Preferences -> Java -> Build Path -> User Libraries, click on New and enter the name. Now click on Add Jars and add jars you need from WebSphere installation.

    2) Go to project Buildpath > Libraries > Add Library > User library > select the user library created in step one and click Finish.

Please take a look at this FAQ for more information :

Let us know how it works for you.

Thank you, that worked fine. I had already figured out the “User Library” part, but the link was helpful because it told me how to keep from packaging the runtime in my .ear file. Thanks, again!
