sip03dsMemberI just downloaded the new version 8.6, in order to migrate from 7.5 version that I am using.
After installing the program without errors, on Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit verison, I am trying to use the new configuration center in order to add plugins (Subclipse).
After selecting the Subclipse 1.6, and validation of the add-on installation starts, it fails with the following error:Bad Update Site.com.genuitec.pulse2.client.commin.launcher.BadUpdateSiteException
Software being installed: MyEclipse 8.6 (Profile) (com.poweredbypulse.profile-0-rb…)
Missing requirement: MyEclipse (Profile) com.poweredbypulse.profile-0-rb… requires org.tigris.subversion.subsclipse.feature.group 0.0.0 but it could not be foundCan you please suggest any solutions on the above problem? It is imperative for me to use SVN.
Thank you in advance
support-joyMembersip03ds,
Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. I would suggest a quick fix using pulse. Please follow below steps –
1. Open Pulse (Start > Programs > Pulse > Pulse Explorer or download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com)
2. Login to pulse
3. Select “Eclipse – Galileo” realm from top left corner drop-down
4. From “My Profiles” select “MyEclipse 8.6”
5. Right click on “MyEclipse 8.6” and from the context menu click on [re-install and run]
6. This will open a window which will guide you through the rest of the steps.
Pulse will automatically fix any dependency issues. Let me know how this works for you.Best.
sip03dsMemberHello again,
Thank you for your immediate reply on the case. I followed your steps and downloaded from pulse the following file: pulse3-win64.zip
After unzipping it and runnning the installer I got the following error:
Failed to load the JNI shared library
c:\…\Local\Genuitec\Pulse Explorer\jre\client\jvm.dll
Therefore I cannot complete step 1 in order to proceed.
Are there any suggestions on this problem?Thanking you again.
support-joyMembersip03ds,
I would recommend you a clean re-install. Here is what you need to do –
1. Run the uninstaller.
2. Make sure the MyEclipse Install Directory has been completely removed
2.1. Pulse Install Directory, on XP it’s under C:\Program Files in \Pulse or \Genuitec, and on Vista it’s under <USER.HOME>\AppData\Local and then under \Pulse or \Genuitec again
3. Then make sure the pulse2.locator file under <USER.HOME> is erased as well1. Download and install all-in-one installer from MyEclipse download site here – http://myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-4.html
2. Install using pulse, instructions mentioned here – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/installation-how-to-install-myeclipse-from-pulse/&highlight=
3. Install using archived update site – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/installation-install-myeclipse-using-archived-update-site/&highlight=
Please note that the FAQs are not based on ME 8.6, please use 8.6 wherever applicable.

support-joyMemberNJSP_USER,
Sorry for the delayed reply. Can you perform a manual uninstall. Make sure all myeclipse and pulse directories are deleted have been completely removed. Look for \pulse or \genuitec. Also ensure you have removed .pulse2.locator file from [USER-HOME] directory.
