yogesh_nayuduMemberHi ,
I followed Struts Login Demo help document and i configured strutsLoginDemo application in the tomcat 4.0 but I couldn’t process the application
I found some problem in the JSP file created by the MY Eclipse
In jsp file the eclipse is using the absolute path like
http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/tags-bean
Tomcat could’t get the info about this absolute path giving error likeorg.apache.jasper.JasperException: This absolute uri (http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/tags-bean) cannot be resolved in either web.xml or the jar files deployed with this application

Riyad KallaMemberThere is nothing wrong with this URI, it is resolved by the TLD contained in the META-INF directory of the struts.jar file. What has likely happened is that you are added Struts 1.2 support to your project, but created a template using the Struts 1.1 JSP template instead of the 1.2 template. The taglib URIs changed between the two versions.
Please read this for more information: http://www.myeclipseide.com/FAQ+index-myfaq-yes-id_cat-31.html#251
yogesh_nayuduMemberHi Riyad,
Thanks for your earlier response.
I tried out with both Struts 1.1 and Struts 1.2 but I am getting same problem could’t move forword
Could you please help me where exactly i am doing the mistake?Regards
Yogesh.
Riyad KallaMemberYogesh,
If you open your project properties and go to MyEclipse-Struts settings, what version of Struts is shown as being used?Do you have struts.jar in your Java Build Path > Libraries tab? Do you see it in your package explorer?
If you expand your struts.jar file and then the META-INF directory inside of it and then double click the bean TLD, about the 8th line down you should see a section that starts and ends with <uri></uri> tags, what URI is given in this file?
