I’m trying to install secure delivery hub on a 64 bit linux installation with a 64 bit jvm.

    java version “1.7.0_45”
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_45-b18)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.45-b08, mixed mode)

    ubuntu@ubuntu:~/Downloads$ uname -m
    x86_64

    I’m using this command …

    sudo ./secure-delivery-hub-2013-sr2.3-installer-linux.run -d64

Everything almost completes and I get this exception ….

    INFO: Copying /usr/local/secure-delivery-center/Server/server/jre.incoming/man/ja/man1/javac.1 to /usr/local/secure-delivery-center/Server/server/jre.incoming/man/ja_JP.UTF-8/man1/javac.1

    Hello ic.gc.ca,

SDC Server was designed to work with 32 bits JRE, the reason behind that decision is mainly because 32 bits uses less memory which is beneficial for our server architecture / server runtime and also on this way our server only deploys with 32 bits simplifying creation of server-plugin contributions. On linux you need to install a 32 bit JVM and possibly some 32-bit libraries:

    To install 32 bit libraries:
    a) For debian environments: sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
    b) For Red hat environments: Please check this post http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=5496

Then you should try to install it without -d64, like this: sudo ./secure-delivery-hub-2013-sr2.3-installer-linux.run

Please let us know if you have any question or issue.

    Best regards,
    Aaron Lara
