skip8itMemberfor some reason,, my mobione application, wont start,, it was working fine, now it wont start,, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and still nothing.. when I tried to uninstall again,, I lost all of my apps i was working on,, they seem to have been erased when I uninstalled the program a second time… this really hurts.. I had about 5 apps that I was working on that I really need. I did a system restore, as a last ditch effort,, and all I got back was the www folders with nothing in them…PLEASE HELP!!!!!
two questions.
1) how can I get my mobione application working again
2) how can I get my *.mobi files back
support-michaelKeymasterQuestions:
1) What version of MobiOne you are installing?2) What window OS are installing to?
3) What is the installation path?
For example are you using the default installation location proposed by the installer? If no, give that a try.4) What Anti-virus software and version are you running?
>2) how can I get my *.mobi files back
What version of MobiOne are you using? In general the uninstaller should not touch any files other than it did not install.
Please share the installation details such as the MobiOne installation directory path and where were your design files were located relative to it.>1) how can I get my mobione application working again
Without any of the basic system info, I would:
a) verify that all MobiOne from previous installation has been deleted either by the MobiOne uninstaller or you manually delete the installation directory less any working files that you have stored under the installation directory.
b) reboot your system
c) download the latest MobiOne installer from http://genuitec.com/mobile/download.html
d) run the installer
– watch your anti-virus software for any complaints or quarantine.
e) run MobiOne

support-octavioMemberHi skip8it,
We are looking into if and how we can recover any appcenter data. You will need to send us an email message to mailto:support@genuitec.com from the email account you used when uploading your projects to App Center Builder. We can not guarantee that we can recover your projects (less the .mobi design files which are not uploaded) but we will do our best effort.
support-octavioMemberHi skip8it,
We are looking into this but it is very time consuming as App Center does not have an api for downloading a user’s project as a single unit. Thus it is a manual effort and all of our developers are 100 percent tasked at the moment.
