joerg.mertinsParticipantHello,
I try to discover some new m2e Connectors with the internal function of myeclispe 2016 CI3. I have a fresh workspace with a maven project. I’d like to install 3 m2e connectors Groovy, m2e-apt and m2e-apt-compiler.
I get the following error message:
Operation details Your original request has been modified. "m2e-wtp - Maven Integration for WTP" is already installed, so an update will be performed instead. Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency. Software being installed: m2e-wtp - Maven Integration for WTP 1.2.1.20150819-2220 (org.eclipse.m2e.wtp.feature.feature.group 1.2.1.20150819-2220) Software currently installed: Maven Support for MyEclipse (Enhanced m2e) 14.0.0.c0000006t201605110438 (component.0470-xAp-1369.myeclipse_maven_module.windows.x86_64 14.0.0.c0000006t201605110438) Only one of the following can be installed at once: m2e-wtp - Maven Integration for WTP 1.2.0.me201605101119 (org.eclipse.m2e.wtp.feature.feature.jar 1.2.0.me201605101119) m2e-wtp - Maven Integration for WTP 1.2.1.20150819-2220 (org.eclipse.m2e.wtp.feature.feature.jar 1.2.1.20150819-2220) Cannot satisfy dependency: From: Maven Support for MyEclipse (Enhanced m2e) 14.0.0.c0000006t201605110438 (component.0470-xAp-1369.myeclipse_maven_module.windows.x86_64 14.0.0.c0000006t201605110438) To: org.eclipse.m2e.wtp.feature.feature.jar [1.2.0.me201605101119] Cannot satisfy dependency: From: m2e-wtp - Maven Integration for WTP 1.2.1.20150819-2220 (org.eclipse.m2e.wtp.feature.feature.group 1.2.1.20150819-2220) To: org.eclipse.m2e.wtp.feature.feature.jar [1.2.1.20150819-2220]
I need some help to solve the conflict.
Best regards
Joerg
support-swapnaModeratorJoerg,
I’m sorry you’re seeing this issue. MyEclipse ships with its own version of m2e-wtp so trying to update it will result in dependency errors. I am afraid the version of m2e-wtp cannot be updated.
Out of the three m2e connectors, can you please let us know installing which one throws the reported dependency errors ?
Apologies for inconvenience caused.
