    Error Creating Deployment
The selected server is enabled, but is not configured properly. Deployment to it will not be permitted until the problem is corrected. Please navigate to the server preference pages and verify the field with the prompt : Tomcat JDK name

this error message popped-up right after i clicked the Finish button on the New Deployment dialogue when i was testing to Deploy the project from MyEclipse Project Deployments.

i have configured the Tomcat 4 Preferences properly..
    Tomcat Home Dir : E:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.27
    Tomcat Base Dir : E:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.27
    Tomcat Temp Dir : E:\jakarta-tomcat-4.1.27\temp

Is there anything else i should do to correct this problem? Please help. 😀

    1) You need to configure one of your installed JREs to point to a JDK installation.
    2) If you want to debug, you need to upgrade to Tomcat 5
