    Hello,

While following along with your Calculator demo for creating a Web Service (in 7.5 for Windows)

    http://www.myeclipseide.com/documentation/quickstarts/webservices_jaxws/

I created the Calculator class, created the web service using bottom up, and then debugged as a MyEclipse Server Application.

However, using Java 6 on Windows (I didn’t need to add the Metro libraries), when I opened the Web Services Exlorer is see in the Web Services Navigator “UDDI Main”, not “WSDL Main” per the demo.

Also, the display is totally different in 7.5.

Unlike your demo, I see in the Web Services Exploer…

    Open Registry.
    A Favorite Registry drop down
    Registry Name*
and an “Inquiry URL” text box

This display doesn’t match your demo.

Not sure what to enter here.

Why doesn’t this screen match the demo?

    Please reply.

    Thank you.

    Mork,
You need to click the “WSDL” page on the browsers right hand corner.
I have added a screen shot for your reference.
Let me know if that helps.

First of all, thanks for your reply.

    However…

    1. There is nothing about this “click on WSDL” step in your tutorial, and

    2. I can’t find what you’re even talking about in your reply above. Please refer to the screen shot I sent you…

I’ve sent you, via PM, a screen shot of what my screen looks like (I had no idea where the screen shot you “attached” was in your message or how I’d get to it).

Please reply as soon as you can.

    Thanks.

    Mork,
I am not sure why you are not able to view the screen shot I have attached.
From the scree shot that you have sent, in the top right hand corner of the browser, you can see a few buttons, which look like they are disabled. You will have to click on the second button from the right, the one beside the star.
This is mentioned in the tutorial link you have sent under 6.3. You can refer to that screen shot for further reference.
Let me know if that helps.

Ok, got it. Yes, I missed that on the demo (item 1.).

It is a bit confusing that the icon is grayed out, but it worked fine now.

    Thanks very much!!!
