ehornekParticipantHi,
After updating with Pulse Explorer (started manually) there were some hundreds of Megabytes downloaded to update to MyEclipse 7.5. After that an error message showed up:
“Error preparing MyEclipse 7.5
An unexpected error occurred preparing to install and/or launch the selected profile.
Reason:
The Eclipse executable[eclipse.exe] can not be found:
C:\Users\erwin\AppData\Local\Genuitec\MyEclipse 7.1 configuration(dir),dropins(dir), eclipse.ini(149),myeclipse.exe(57344)”Any ideas other than send us this or that, sorry for ..???
support-joyMemberehornek,
I understand your frustration. Today there are couple of users facing issue with ME7.5. Can you help me narrow down this.
1. What is your OS?
2. Can you open pulse2.properties from your myeclipse installation dir, you can look here – ~\Genuitec\Common\configuration\pulse2.properties and copy and paste pulse.handshake.id here? This will help me answerAny ideas other than send us this or that, sorry for ..???
by looking into our server logs

Do you have any solutions to offer? I don’t want to spend my time on doing beta-testing for a product I am paying for!
Loyal WaterMemberehornek,
We had a system hickup when we rolled out the 7.5 udpate late last night around 1am and broke the Blueprints and that’s why you were seeing the errors — MyEclipse/Pulse were connecting to the server and saying “Ok, what updates do you have for me?” and the server was handing back garbage and then MyEclipse/Pulse were saying “What the heck is this junk… it doesn’t even make sense” and that is the error you were seeing. We fixed it at 6am this morning so now all should be correct and the 7.5.0 updates are going out smoothly. Sorry for the hickup.
ehornekParticipantThanks, I will try it later and inform you about the result.
ehornekParticipantSeems to work now!
support-joyMemberGood to hear that you are all set.
