After a fresh default install of M6 on my W2000 machine I installed ME3.7RC. I opened Eclipse, to find the MyEclipse plugin installed, with the toolbar button visible and the MyEclipse perspective an option in Window > Open Perspective > MyEclipse. However, none of the MyEclipse controls were displayed and none of the functionality was available to me.

I opened Window > Customize Perspective… and selected the Command tab, as directed in the documentation (MyEclipse User Guide > Getting Started > Add MyEclipse UI Controls to Eclipse [Step 2]), to enable the controls. I found MyEclipse-Core selected, but no other MyEclipse options were available (ie. MyEclipse-DeployTools & MyEclipse-WebTools).

    What is wrong?

I can supply infomation wrt my configuration…

Jonathan, make sure you downloaded and installed the Eclipse SDK, not just the JDT.

    Thanks!

I’ve downloaded the Eclipse JDK, installed it and my problem is solved 😀 . I’m very grateful for the quick response, thank you.
