Hello:
I have been using myEclipse for years along with other java ides. I recently upgraded to version 6. Started a new project implementing struts and run it under tomcat 5. I can deploy locally form with in myeclipse and run it. I use the localhost address in the browser and everything works fine. When I deploy it to our server environment (create a war file and send it to a unix server) I get an error in the log that indicates the struts-config.xml can not be parsed. I tested by removing everything form the file. As soon as I add the action class or form xml tags it fails. I assume it is having issues getting the struts library. I checked the code into CVS and had a colleague run it and deploy it to the server and it worked ok for him. One thing I noticed is that my project had struts.jar AND the struts 1.2 library from ME6 in the build path. His did not. Any idea why or why this isn’t working when I create a war file and deploy but runs ok locally? Again I suspect that it is looking for a jar or library on the server it can not find but I am not sure what I would need to send to the tomcat lib (already tried struts.jar) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The error message suggests that you xml has not been formed correctly but the weird part is that you are able to run is successfully on a local server.

Can you paste the struts-config.xml file here for me.

sorry was stuck in meetings all day. I am posting my xml below but again, as I said previously, I do not thisk the problem is with the xml as I remove everything relative to struts and there is know error but as soon as I add the <form-bean> tags in it can not parse. One thing I notice is that the struts1.2 library is in the build path for mine (does not parse when deployed to production unix server was war) where my colleagues just has the struts.jar and his war file works. Is there something in the library fiel I need to send to the server? Here is the struts-config.xml

Can you remove our Struts Container from your build path because you already have the JAR there and try deploying this again.
