I’m having problems trying to re-install MyEclipse 8.5 on ubuntu.

I’m getting the following profiles when using the pulse installer:

This profile can not be resolved because required software could not be located.
Could not locate installable unit: com.genuitec.myeclipse.tcserver.feature.group [7.9.100,8.9.100)
Could not locate installable unit: pulse.com.genuitec.myeclipse.product85 [8.4.100,8.9.100)
Could not locate installable unit: pulse.com.genuitec.myeclipse.product85.ide.group 0.0.0
Could not locate installable unit: com.genuitec.myeclipse.pulse.feature.group [8.4.100,8.9.100)

    screendigest,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Can you answer few questions for me to get to the root cause?
    1. How did you install ME? Using all-in-one installer / pulse / archived update site on top of eclipse classic 3.5.2?
    2. Have you added any 3rd party plugins to your ME profile? If yes, can you list them here?
I would recommend you a quick re-install using pulse. Please follow below mentioned steps –
    1. Open Pulse. If you don’t have pulse, download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com
    2. Login to Pulse. You can also login anonymously.
    3. Select “Eclipse – Galileo” realm from top left hand corner dropdown
    4. Select “MyEclipse 8.5” from “My Profiles”.
    5. Right click on “MyEclipse 8.5” and click on [Re-install and run]
    6. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps.

    Best.
