Hi

I’ve got the same set of project in two workspaces. In one it will deploy correctly, in the other it fails. Both deployments are to the same app server (BEA 9.2.3).

Can anyone point me in the right direction to track the cause of this?

Can you answer couple of queries for me to get to the root cause?
1. Can you copy and paste your installation details? Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
2. Do you see any error being reported when you deploy? Check the problems tab.
3. Can you look into your .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log and look for any relevant issues logged
4. Can you check if your project is deploying on the sandbox tomcat without any issues.
5. Check if you are able to deploy and sample EOD on the same app server
6. If yes, check if the project runs on sandbox tomcat

Josh,

I don’t see any issues in your log file. You can use [post reply]/ [pm] to send screenshots.
EOD are examples on demand. To access EOD, open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Examples on Demand. This will open the examples on demand browser. Select any sample EOD and click on [install project] to check out the sample project to your workspace.
Next to run, right click on the project and click on Run As > MyEclipse Server Application > MyEclipse Tomcat. MyEclipse Tomcat is the sandbox tomcat. This is a toned down version of Tomcat 6 included in ME.
I think the workspace which is not running your said project is corrupted. I am afraid I cannot offer you any alternatives other than copy relevant project to new workspace.
