denz97Participanti use myeclipse blue (ga 7.0) behind a proxy. at startup, a proxy authentication dialog window displays asking for id/pwd (and optional domain). i enter in my credentials but the dialog window still appears. i enter my id/pwd again and yet dialog window re-appears. i cancelled out of the proxy authentication window and configure proxy settings at windows > preferences > general > network connections. i clicked on apply and clicked on ok. i restarted myeclipse blue and the proxy authentication re-appears asking for my id/pwd. i checked network connections i configured earlier and the settings were not there! i re-confiigured it again, clicked on apply and ok buttons and restarted myeclipse blue. at start up, the proxy authentication appears again asking for id / pwd and as you may have guessed, the proxy configuration in network connections were empty / not saved again.
christweekieMemberHi
I have the same thing. I am pretty sure that you are seeing an attempt to communicate with “poweredbypulse” – this is what I see on the authentication dialog. Are you seeing the same ? As far as I can tell, the pulse stuff ignores what you have set in network settings.

denz97Participantyep, its the same one. here’s something more that i forgot to mention. after the IDE restart, an error dialog appears stating, “An internal error occurred during: “Initializing TargetCfg”.
NtlmCredential required for NTLM authentication.”
christweekieMemberYes – it is the same thing. I get the same error upon restart. I have another thread going which I hope will resolve the problem but at the moment, MyEclipse 7.0 is unusable for me.
denz97Participantmy pro subsbription expired just this oct and was thinking of purchasing blue edition license. i’ll hold off buying till this is fixed and other issues i’ve been reading resolved.
