trying to install myeclipse via pulse. i noticed that its taking forever to download myeclipse enterprise workbench. the progress bar on myeclipse/pulse splash window indicates it is making progress but after a few seconds the bar moves back again. i monitored the diskspace consumed where files are being downloaded to and noticed that when the progress bar moves back, the diskspace consumed by the folder decreases. it makes me think that the download process is unable to completely download a particular file and is trying to redownload again…and this behavior goes on and on.
any ideas?
i’m not going to worry about this problem. this is most likely attributed to my windows internet connection. i got my ubuntu working and that’s good enough for me. for you folks out there, just make sure you have your proxy configuration set and then check the ssl option in the proxy window and you should be good.
