Hollis InmanMemberHow can I change my pulse login. The one that is ask for initially on the collaboration tab on the first profile.
support-joyMemberAre you referring to login-in to pulse using a different pulse login-id? If yes, then you need to login to pulse > go to the pulse explorer > click on *My Account*. And click on [Forget Credentials]. Close Pulse. Next time you login to pulse, it will ask you for your pulse credentials.
Hollis InmanMemberExactly how do you login to pulse then go to the pulse explorer. I have Start>pulse>Myeclipse and no pulse explorer.
I have my own MyEclipse and pulse login and one for my employer. My collaboration on my work myeclipse got connected to my personal pulse which is expired even thou my personal myeclipse has not expired.I downloaded pulse logged in went to my account, Forget Credentials was greyed out.
by selecting remember me on the login screen the Forget Credentials is available but it has nothing to do with the Myeclipse connection to pulse. It still says my pulse is expiired.

I am not sure I follow you. What do you mean by your work Myeclipse got connected to your personal pulse? Can you send me screenshots, which will help me get a visual. You can either [pm] the screenshots or send a mail to support@genuitec.com with above weblink as reference and add ATTN:Joy in the subject, this will help in quick tracing.

Did you select anonymous login?

Please send screenshots and details such as your pulse credentials.
Hollis InmanMemberPM to you screen shots
Brian FernandesModeratorJack,
We received your screenshots, thanks for sending them in.
I would like to clarify that Pulse freelance access is independent of your MyEclipse Subscription. For any MyEclipse profile, you will have the full benefits of a Pulse freelance account, but you will not have these same benefits for other non-MyEclipse profiles unless you renew or purchase a Pulse freelance account. I do see the problem where you are not able to share a MyEclipse configuration, our team is looking into that issue now.
I have a few questions:
1) Do you see any updates on the Sofware tab?
2) How did you install MyEclipse – did you use the all in one installer or did you install using Pulse?
3) If you go to Help > About – what is the build Id mentioned?
3) If you go to Help > About > Installation Details > Plug-ins, can you find the exact version of any com.genuitec.pulse2.* plugin?
Hollis InmanMember1)There are no “Software Updates Available” listed
2)From myeclipse-8.5.0-win32.exe no additional software loaded.
3)MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench Version: 8.6 Build id: 8.6-20100806
4)3.0.3.v201007291200 for the 20-30 listed elementsMy understanding of the situation is that the independent freelance account is attached to my MyEclipse. The problem is I cant unhook it. A variation on the question would be how can I associate my MyEclipse with different freelance accounts after the initial request for a freelance login. Just my thoughts.

support-joyMemberJack,
Please follow below steps –
1. Open Pulse.
2. In case pulse remembers your login credentials, go to “My Account”. From the right hand pane click on [Forget Credentials]
3. Next login to pulse with the correct login credentials.
4. Select “Eclipse – Galileo” realm from top left hand corner drop-down
5. Click and expand – Ready to use Profiles > Popular. From the right hand pane, right click on “MyEclipse 8.6” and click on [Add to profile]. You can give a separate name to this profile, to help distinguish from already existing ME 8.6 profiles. This profile would get added to “My Profiles”. Right click on this profile and click on [run]. No download is required, since all relevant ME 8.6 related files are already existing in your system.Let me know if you are all set?
Hollis InmanMemberIt does create a new profile and collaboration now works on the new profile. The old profile still does not work.
support-joyMemberJack,
Good to hear you are all set. Going forward please use this new profile.
Best.
