    In oracle, the order in which things are executed in the query plan is nice to see.

    Also, adding some color to it would help people decipher what is going on quicker.

    Example: TABLE ACCESS in red, JOINS in blue, cost/rows in purple. Maybe with some pretty icons for each type of line item.

    It’d add to the slick-factor. 🙂

    Have you tried bringing up the context menu in the SQL Editor? If you have a PRO version of MyEclipse, you can bring up the Query plan by right clicking a query an choosing “View Explain Plan”

    Hi Brian,

    The problem isn’t viewing the plan, I’m talking about the format of it. 🙂

    There is an order to follow in the plan, which is being left off. And I was just suggesting that adding some color and icons might make it quicker/easier to read.
