    Hi, I’m new to MyEclipse.
I tried the struts 2 tutorial. It works, but I have the following problem
“Package A extends undefined package struts-default”
in my struts.xml file editor. If I try to create a package in the flow view there are no options when I hit the Add button for Extends:. If struts-default is entered, Finish is greyed out. I searched the forums and Google, with no success. Please assist.

    Installation details are:
    Windows 7 64-bit
MyEclipse 9 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000001 (installed the 32-bit version to have full
    capabities.)

    Thank you

    janfourie,

I could not replicate the issue at my end.

    1) Which tutorial did you follow ? Please paste the link here.

    2) Clear the contents of the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log. Replicate the issue and check for any errors logged in the .log file. Paste them here.

    3) Attached is a sample tutorial for Struts 2. The tutorial is present under – MyEclipse Struts2 tutorial/quickstarts/struts2 folder. Please refer to it.

    4) If you still see the issue, can you please attach the screenshots for the issue ? Here is the link on how to attach them :

Let me know how this works for you.

Thank you! Searched Google for errors in .log and found it could be a permissions issue. Reinstalled with Run as Administrator. Problem has been resolved. Regards
