with 3.0 RC1 + 2.8.1 beta i can’t even open up a particular SessionManager class file, which simply has hibernate session management?

also I seems to take about 30 seconds to save struts-config.xml? any good reason for this? is anyone else getting this?

when is the feature coming to “add hibernate capabilities”
it might be very useful to have a feature to have this “add custom capabilities” and let user make a template which then can map in jars + config / class details of thier favorite libraries….

    Jason,

Did you really mean 3.0 RC1 and 2.8 beta 1? If so, this config surely won’t work as 2.8 Beta 1 is for Eclipse 2.1.x. You need MyEclipse 3.8 Beta 1.

sorry my mistake its 3.8.1 beta-1, after several crashes and restarts it seems to be working better.

Haha, that’s a terrible solution, but we are glad to hear its working better.

Do you want to open a new thread if you are able to reproduce the problems again, or is it still unstable enough that you can’t use it?

    Jason,

Please note that Eclipse 3.0 has much larger memory requirements than 2.1.x so if you’re using an existing workspace you may have to add ‘-vmargs’ options to increase the amount of memory you give Eclipse on startup (ie. -vmargs -Xms128M -Xmx256M)
