trouble is *.properties files are removed from classes folder also & I have to keep copying them back in from elsewhere – is there someway of preventing this?

Also I get an error in Eclipse “problems creating folder xxxx”, doing another rebuild and/or refresh normally clears this but problem as above then occurs!

Please fill out your system information for us to help us troubleshoot per the Posting Guidelines. A quick way to do this is hit reply, and then click the “Insert” button and fill out all the fields.

As a side note, I have many web applications that make use of .properties files and they all get copied to the classes folder. I am using Eclipse 2.1.2 and MyEclipse 2.7RC2.

do not maintain them in the class folder, keep them in your Java src folder, and Eclipse copies them to the classes folder.
