I have MyEclipse 8.0 and using Tomcat 6.2 external serve set up as well as the internal MyEclipse Tomcat and have the same issue on both.

I had to restore a backup of one of my projects from a couple of weeks ago, now when I try to run I receive the error

“<project> cannot be redeployed because it could not be completely removed in the undeployment phase …”

I have removed the WebApps\<project name> from my external Tomcat install and also from my .me_tcat\webapps\ as well. Restarted my machine , stood on one leg etc etc but I still have the same issue.

Where else is MyEclipse finding this stuff?

    Thanks

    Chris

    Chris,
Can you try removing all your deployments from the servers view. Right click on individual projects and select remove deployment from the context menu. Now go to Project > Clean, clean your project and try deploying the application to tomcat.

You can also refer to the following post for further reference –

Let me know if that works for you.
