    Hi,

When I set breakpoints in my jsp they appear without a tick and are not registered with the Tomcat 5 App server jvm that i am using to debugg locally with. The breakpoints are ignored. NO MATTER what I seem to do I cannot get the breakpoints to be recognised in order to suspend the program. What is really frustrating is that they were working before I altered the App Server JDK in the window preferences node – but now after changing the jdk back they no longer do – groan… I know a solution must be available as my debugging worked previously….

Can anyone explain this breakpoint misbehaviour!??

    I’m now using jdk1.5.0_06/jre1.5.0_06 ,Eclipse platform 3.02, MyEclipse 3.8.4

    🙁 🙁

    Thanks,

    Dom.

    Dom,
First make sure you didn’t set the app server to launch in Run mode instead of debug mode. Also try switching to your debug perspective, right clicking in the break points view hitting “Remove ALl” then restarting using the -clean command line argument.
