I am not clear on the relationship to and compatibility with other eclipse plugins from eclipse.org, in particular the wtp project. When I install MyEclipse and wtp I always get various duplicate package / incompatible package type warnings. Can you explain whether these are compatible, overlap completely or partially, and what the minimum external dependencies are, if any? thanks.

There can be a case where you get more than 1 copy of a plugin with different versions which conflict each other. In such a case, you will have to go to Help > Software Updates > Manage Configuration and disable the version you dont require.We build MyEclipse on top of WTP, so installing WTP + MyEclipse is effectively installing 2 copies of WTP which explains the duplication.
