After changes to a struts-config or applicationContext file I make a simple change to my web.xml or run a touch against it from a command line.

I would find it useful to be able to reload a specific context inside a container. For instance, an extra option, “Reload”, in the server menu with “Start” and “Stop” that would allow reloading of the deployed web apps.

Good suggestion! Of course as you’ve noted the workaround right now is to touch web.xml from within the Eclipse workspace and that will cause a reload in Tomcat, etc.
