I’ll check with devs, I don’t know if we will ever support this as our deployment tool is to be used for development and we don’t want people to use it for production deployment. Instead we think its best they rely on their own custom script to handle all the necessary details of deployment.

I just wanted to clarify what you meant by remote deployment… if you meant deploying to a running production server over the internet, then my answer above probably addresses that. If however you want to deploy to an application server installed on your local machine OR an application server on another machine that you have a mounted drive or directory pointing at, you can use the deployment tool to do that for you.
