    Hey,
Im testing MobiOne and I realized that the interface in Safari is still there, ie the Safari “back”, “forward” etc (the toolbar at the bottom) does not go away.

    Can that be done? =)

    Im using iPhone 4.

I have discovered that saving the web app to the Home Screen and then starting frm there removes the toolbar. Is that the only way?

You are correct that to hide the browser toolbar on iPhone you must first save webapps to the home screen (i.e., known as a webclip). Webapps launched from the iphone homescreen run in standalone mode.
