I added WebProject capabilities to an existing webapp I have. After adding the capabilities the problems view was populated with tons of errors in jsp’s, web.xml and tag library descriptors. I don’t have time to work on the errors now and decided to remove WebProject capabilities from the app. Despite removing the webproject capabilities, the problems are still present in the problems view. How do I remove these?

    Thanks,

    John

    John,
Try closing the project and restarting Eclipse.

Closing the project, restarting eclipse, then re-opening the project worked.

    Thanks for the help.

How did you remove the WebProject Capabilities? I don’t see that functionality anywhere.

I too, would like to know how to remove Web Project capabilities from an existing project. I have a ton of errors and seem to hav emade the problem worse by removing “some” of the metadata files (at least the obvious ones), but there is still information out there somewhere indicating that this is a Web Project. Only problem is, now it assumes a WEBROOT, instead of the folder I designated. Not pretty.

I am trying to integrate JSF 1.1 with Struts in this project while meeting a critical deadline. So the sooner I can figure out how to back out Web Project abilities, the better.

    Thanks.
