hahagalParticipantHi,
Salesforce has a built-in reporting tool which is good. I need something similar to the salesforce reporting tools to embed to our web-based application (java, xhtml). Currently using the below MyEclipse Blue version for development. Any recommendations?
MyEclipse Blue Edition
Version: 10.0 Blue
Build id: 10.0-Blue-20111028
support-swapnaModeratorhahagal,
Versions earlier than MyEclipse 2014 are no longer fully supported. I strongly recommend you update to MyEclipse 2015, our latest release based on Eclipse Luna to take advantage of the several enhancement and fixes made to MyEclipse since the MyEclipse 10.x release.
Your current license is valid for MyEclipse 2015 as well. Please download the latest MyEclipse 2015 installer from here : https://www.genuitec.com/products/myeclipse/download/
MyEclipse has built-in support for web reports. MyEclipse Reports is an implementation of Eclipse BIRT framework and greatly simplifies the process of developing, deploying and testing a wide range of web reports.
Here is a quick overview about MyEclipse Reports : https://www.genuitec.com/products/myeclipse/learning-center/reports/myeclipse-reports-overview/
Also please refer to this tutorial to get started with MyEclipse Reports :
https://www.genuitec.com/products/myeclipse/learning-center/reports/myeclipse-reports-the-basics/I am afraid I cannot suggest any third party plugins for reports since they are not integrated with MyEclipse and so not guaranteed that they will work. You may check on development forums for inputs from developer community about any third party plugins that are compatible with Eclipse and try installing to MyEclipse to see if they work.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you see any issues.
