alonso100MemberHello,
I am trying to get all files for being able to install my 2nd App into the Ipad and am following the instructions here. In 2.3 it says that I have to get a digital certificate for distribution but there´s no way to request a new one. I have only options download or revoke, regarding the previous certificate.
Reading some posts here it is declared that I should revoke the existing certificate and then follow the steps in 2.3 but I get a warning message (see picture) which makes me worry about the existance and performance of my 1st App.
If I revoke the certificate will all installed Apps stop working as I understand the message ?? What happens when the expiration date is reached ?? will also the installed apps stop working ??

Paul_paulParticipantWhy do you need another distribution certificate?
alonso100Memberdo you mean that we can work with 1 distribution certificate for any number of Apps in the next x years ??
support-michaelKeymasterThe doc you referenced is for users that do not already have an iOS digital certificate and provision profile. If you have already created these files then use them; there is no need to revoke them and start over, e.g., private.key/certificate.cer/xxx.mobileprovision or a pkcs #12 file.
Also notice that Apple certificates expire. A developer certificate is usually good for 3 months. A distribution certificate is good for 1 year from its date of creation.
alonso100MemberOk, thanks.
Be aware that today or in the last 2-3 days Apple changed entirely the website for requesting the certificates, so the tutorial document must be updated by Genuitec.
paulDMemberGot to say and it pains me to say this, Apples new developer portal is easier to use.
Just generated and distribution profile and it was not that bad.
