No big deal, but if I enable Resin3 and then stop and restart Eclipse, “Resin 3” disappears from the MyEclipse “Run/Stop Servers” menu. I then need to go to the MyEclipse application servers item in the preferences menu, select “Resin 3” in the tree view (by the way, it already has the “Enable” radio button selected) and close the preferences dialog. Doing so adds Resin3 back to the Run/Stop Servers menu.

Right now, I have both Tomcat 5 and Resin 3 enabled. If I shut down Eclipse and restart it, Tomcat 5 remains in the menu and Resin 3 disappears. If I disable Tomcat 5 (leaving Resin 3 enabled) and quit/restart eclipse, the menu has the single item “No application servers are enabled…” until I repeat the procedure outlined above. Again, no big deal, just a minor annoyance.

Environment: Windows XP, MyEclipse Build Id 200407091200-3.8-Beta2, Eclipse 3.0.0

I believe you just stumbled onto something new, I had never seen this behavior before except right now when I loaded up E to try and duplicate it… I will report this, thank you.

I just tried my steps to reproduce this on another machine, and was unable too… there seems to be some difference between Eclipse setups that cause this to happen. Are you able to create steps to reproduce this ever time?
