tschuettelMemberHi,
I am currently using MyEclipse Blue 9.0 and Resin 4.0.16. Wenn I try to upgrade to any newer version of Resin – 4.0.19 or the latest 4.0.20, Resin shuts down after about one minute with the following output:
... [11-07-18 17:50:49.745] {resin-37} WebApp[production/webapp/default/resin-doc] stopping WarningService: Resin restarting due to configuration change [11-07-18 17:50:52.884] {resin-shutdown} Server[id=default,cluster=app-tier] stopping Shutdown Resin reason: MODIFIED [11-07-18 17:50:54.898] {resin-shutdown} Shutdown Resin reason: MODIFIED
This does not happen, when I start the very same Resin installation outside of MyEclipse. I even tried MyEclipse 9.1 and a clean workspace, but the result is the same.
Thanks in advance.
Tom
support-swapnaModeratortschuettel ,
Sorry that you are running into this issue with MyEclipse. I tried to start the Resin 4.0.16 and later the 4.0.19 and I could not replicate the issue at my end.
Can you answer some more questions for me to be able to replicate the issue at my end.
1) How did you upgrade to Resin 4.0.19 ?
2) Can you send the Resin connector settings ? Use the PM button at the end of this post for the same
3) Clear the contents of the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log. Now try to start the Resin 4.0.19 and paste the contents of the .log file here for me.
support-swapnaModeratortschuettel ,
Sorry for the confusion. I could replicate the issue at my end with Resin 4.0.19 version.
I have filed a bug for the dev team to look at it.Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
tschuettelMemberHi,
I just saw the announcement for MyEclipse 10. Is the Resin connector problem fixed in this version?
Thanks

Apologies for not fixing it in MyEclipse 10.The dev team is looking into the problem right now.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Brian FernandesModeratorTom,
We were able to replicate your problem with 4.0.19, but not able to replicate it with the latest 4.0.23 release of Resin. It would appear that the problem is with the server itself and not our connector. Could you please try it with the latest version and let us know?
We also made several fixes to the Resin connector in 9.1 (though none related to this problem), but it has not changed since; you may want to upgrade to either 9.1 or 10.0 to test.
