    Step 4.2 has a screen showing “Create new Java Bean” check box. I am using v8.6 and selecting REST(JAX-RS) doesn’t give you that additional check box / section.
    Stuck, don’t know how to proceed.

    I could not replicate it at my end.
    When I select the project which is based on Rest Webservice and click on ‘New Web Service’, I can see the ‘Create new Java Bean’ check box.
    Attached is the screenshot for the same.

    Can you copy paste your installation details here from the menu MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation details?
    Can you also send us the screenshot of the ‘New Web Service’ screen using the PM button?
