The news letter I received through email states the new verison of MyEclipse allows

Hibernate DB reverse-engineering with the following capabilities:
Extended reverse-engineer support to work with multiple database tables
    Customizable global mapping policy
Table specific mapping policy including exclude columns
Generate mapping files and automatic update of Hibernate and Spring bean configuration files
Generate Data Objects (POJOs) and Data Access Objects (DAOs)
Supports user templates for all code generation

Yet, when I right-click on a table through the DB Explorer I can only fill out the destinaiton package; type of primary key etc.

    Where do I exlcude columns?
    Where do I generate DAOs?

    Thanks

    Vsnoone,

Reverse engineering is now a 3 step wizard. If you look at the third page, you will see a tree on the left with a list of the tables you have selected. You may expand that table and select the column you wish to exclude, the right hand side of the wizard will have a checkbox allowing you to do this.

DAO generation was pulled from the release at the last moment due to internal issues. An oversight that DAO generation was mentioned in the newsletter, we are going to try and put DAO generation back in for GA.
Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. Let us know if you require further clarification.

    Best,
    Brian.
