When I right click on a build.xml file, Run As ant build is not available, and if I view the ‘Run Configurations…” there are no entries in the list for Ant builds. The file is obviously recognised as an ant build file, as it has the correct icon.
It appears that somehow ant build features may not be part of my project set-up?
This project works perfectly well in other eclipse based IDEs (latest base eclipse, and in JBoss Developer Studio).
I am using MyEclipse 8.6.1
I have resolved this now, it seems for some reason the run as ant build was not available because I needed to refresh my project…
