Running MyEclipse Tomcat doesn’t create new Console window

    Hello — I’m finding that under certain conditions, starting up (clicking “Run”) the MyEclipse Tomcat server doesn’t create a new Console window in which I can see the output of the Tomcat server process; I’ve also found a workaround that might help you figure out where the bug is.

    Repeatably, on my three installations of ME (Mac OS 10.5.6 on Intel, JVM 1.5), if I start MyEclipse and then immediately run the MyEclipse Tomcat server, I get no console output whatsoever.

    If, on the other hand, I go into the Console view first and use the Open Console button to open a new Java Stack Trace Console window, and THEN I run the MyEclipse Tomcat server, I get the normal console output I’d expect from Tomcat. (Note that I *don’t* get the output *in* the Java Stack Trace Console window I created; instead, a second console is created, which I can verify by using the “Display Selected Console” button.)

    As I said, this is 100% repeatable. My installation summary:
