    Hello,
I’ve noticed a “>” sign at the start of the file names, folders and even the project name in the sample jsf/jpa application that I downloaded. This appears only within the ide but not in the file names outside the ide. Why is this so? Do I need to know why from a myeclipse user standpoint?

    Thanks,
    Glenn

The project that you downloaded is linked to a repository. Thats the reason why you see the “>” sign. This is something to do with the version control system. You should not worry about it.
