    Hello,

How in MobiOne can one bind an event to the motion of scrolling down a panel and releasing; like what is done in the iOS email app (and in many other apps) where one drags down the panel and releases to refresh the data?

    Thx.

    Hi jmnaud,

I have asked the dev team to assist. In the meantime can you share more details about what you wish to accomplish with pull up/down to refresh? I assume you are accomplished with javascript to implement your UI update logic?

    Hi Octavio,

I created a list using MobiOne; I would like that list to act like the one in the iOS email application, i.e. when one pulls the whole list down and releases, it refreshes the emails.

I have written the Javascript handler to refresh my list. I’m wondering how can I bind it to the scrollpanel in order for that handler to be called when the scrollpanel is pulled down by a large enough amount.

    Thx.

See this thread that we just updated with an example for monitoring the panel’s scroller positioning. This is not an exact fit for your feature but it provides a start for monitoring scroller positioning.

Note: we are researching an improved version of panel scroller that will provide pull/push refresh functionality. I don’t have a timeframe for when/if the scroller update will happen.

Update our dev team informed me that the scroller update is already in development. We will share more details when we have a timeframe for availability.
