I was wondering if there is or will be a scroll-er wheel iPhone component?

Yes, a spinner design component is on our short list for future components. MobiOne already provides 2 list components that use an internal spinner at runtime. To see this spinner try adding either a checkbox or a Select List Menu to your design. Both controls present a spinner component at runtime for item selection.

If you need your own spinner component now then check out the api for the cubiq spinner which MobiOne uses http://cubiq.org/spinning-wheel-on-webkit-for-iphone-ipod-touch.

Just for anyone else looking for this answer its actually combobox and Select List Menu that bring up the spinner as a user action at run time. Combobox only supports single selection and the other supports both.

Doesn’t seem to be a very intuitive implementation, would be nice to have a spinner component with an multi or single selection item list also optional “Done” and “Cancel” buttons.

Thanks for the feedback. MobiOne is a work in progress and as you observe there is no explicit spinner control supported in the designer, yet. Now that we have a good implementation at runtime we can work backwards towards providing a design-time spinner component. I added your comments about an explicit spinner control to our enhancement planning system.
