I’m using MyEclipse 2017 and when I do a text search I would like for the result annotations to display in the border area for .sql files.

Apologies for missing out your post. I do see that the annotations are not displayed for .sql files in the MyEclipse SQL Editor. I have raised a bug for the dev team to work on it. We will keep you posted when the fix is out.
