Sorry if this has been discussed, it seems like it probably has, but I can’t find any reference searching the forums.

When I start MyEclipse for Spring it has stopped successfully searching for updates. It used to work, and may have stopped when I installed the Android development kit, although I am not sure of that.

There isn’t too much to go on really. In the Updates box in “Configuration Center” it says
    Checking for Updates
    Finding available updates…

And that is all. It never finishes never finds anything and never produces any errors.

    Any thoughts?

    ethutch,

You can use pulse as an alternate option to search and apply updates. This is what you need to do –
    1. Open Pulse. (Start > Programs > Pulse > Pulse Explorer or download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com)
    2. Login to pulse
    3. Select relevant Eclipse realm from top left hand corner dropdown. If you are on ME8.x, select Eclipse Galileo, in case you are on ME 9.x, select Eclipse Helios
    4. From “My Profiles”, select your ME profile
    5. On the right hand pane, it will list out OverView, software and collaboration tab. On the overview tab, it will list the software updates under updates available.
    6. You can select the checkbox preceding the software you would like to update.
    7. Next click on [Apply x changes] button under *Pending Changes* section and follow the wizard.
You should be all set. Let me know how this works for you.

    Best.
