I see that BIRT has just added an ‘In’ operator that enables selection of multiple parameter values. When will the ‘In’ operator be available in MyEclipse Reports?

Also, how do I setup a parameter in a report to enable the selection of all values in a dynamic list of parameter values?

Im sorry this is not support at the moment and I don’t have a confirmed date on when MyEclipse Reports would support this. This would mostly be added in our next release.

OK. Thanks for the update. I’ll be looking for these features in the next release.

Have you considered doing a work around using Data Set Property Binding against the Query? I.e. add the where clause with the “in” using the (possibly) multiple values in an associated report parameter.

I’m sorry I don’t have insight into how exactly the product management team and dev team will handle this.

Sorry. My comment was to the OP as a work around since I expect you guys to be eliminating the need for the work around by incorporating the newer BIRT releases. 🙂

    eliopsa,
MyEclipse 7.0 will have the latest BIRT update. Im not sure if the latest version of BIRT supports this but incase it does, MyEclipse Report will support it as well.
