Server launch mode preference ignored? [Bug]

When running an application server (JBoss3) using the AppServer controls, it appears to always run in Debug mode even when the launch mode is set to Run for that server.

I’m using Eclipse 2.1.1, MyEclipse 2.6.2.

The difference between run and debug modes is whether or not breakpoints will be honored. Are you seeing breakpoints honored when launching in Run mode?

Breakpoints are honoured in Run mode.

Thanks for this report. Execution should not be halting at breakpoints when in Run mode. I have entered an issue into our tracking system on this topic.

This issue has been fixed in the release candidate builds for version 2.6.3.

Which is due out when? The status for the updates have been stuck at 70% for a long time on the news and update page.

The new release (2.6.3) should be available by Monday, 10/20/2003.
