When editor is maximized and server is recompiled on save, Servers view pops out and grabs focus. I think it wasn’t this way before CI9 but I may be wrong. In any case, it is very inconvenient, is there a a setting to disable this behavior?

We’re investigating whether this is a regression – yes, this can certainly be irritating when you’re in a maximized editor. If the editor is not maximized, the view simply activates but doesn’t grab focus.

In the meanwhile however, the only suggestion I have is to close the view 🙁 You could quickly open it again by pressing Ctrl + 3 and typing “Se[Enter]” – not ideal, but perhaps this is better than the current situation.

Looks like this is the regular behavior and we do have a setting that will fix this.

Go to Window > Preferences > Server and turn off the Show Servers view when server state changes. I tested this and it works great.

Thanks, that helps, I didn’t realize this is standard Servers view of Eclipse so it is built-in
