    Hi

I am using latest Eclipse with latest MyEclipse. We already have winCVS setup and running for last couple of years. We have a team of six developers, who share this cvs repository. This WinCVS is running on windows 2000 proffesional server. Currently other team developers are using JBuilder and using this cvs repository.
When It come to setup winCVS on their pc. First they map driver to the cvs directory. Then use Connection Type : Local, to setup repository. We are not allow to use connection type pserver.

But I am using myEclipse and there is no such thing as connection type Local.

Please could you advice me how do I go setting up CVS access from myEclipse to winCVS on server.

    Many thanks

    Ismail,

Thank you for your support for MyEclipse. I think I can provide the information you’re looking for.
The CVS support in MyEclipse is provided by the Eclipse platform itself through its team support. You don’t need any external client (like WinCVS) to make use of it. You only need a CVS server to house your team’s source. An overview of CVS usage can be found here:
    http://help.eclipse.org/help31/topic/org.eclipse.platform.doc.user/concepts/concepts-26.htm

Specifically setting up a CVS connection in Eclipse is here: http://help.eclipse.org/help31/topic/org.eclipse.platform.doc.user/tasks/tasks-92.htm
