I see where I can change the keystroke for invoking the content assist. But I would like to not have to press anything; is that a setting or a feature request?

I tried the JSP editor in a Java block and the html editor for a new tag and both “auto activated” content assist. I believe this is supported by all editors and chains off the setting for the Java editor at Window > Preferences > Java > Editor > Content Assist.

Can you give a very specific example where this is not functioning as you’d like?

In the html editor, when I type <div{space} I would the code assist to come up rather than pressing Ctrl+Space.
