anybody out there with advice about what to put in the gapdebug “settings” fields to run it from inside a firewall ?
and what i have to setup in the firewall to make it all work ?

If you have not done so you should update to GapDebug 2015 update 1.1 (this is the latest). We fixed a few proxy issues that existed in earlier versions.
