I tried installing Codemix 2 from Marketplace in both Oxygen and Photon versions and get this error when Eclipse starts up.
Also

Missing Module ../product.json.
This is coming from
const product = require(‘../product.json’);
in /.codemix/engine/resources/app/out/main.js:14

There is a
~/.codemix/engine-extract1538752877155/resources/app/product.json
and
~/.codemix/engine-extract1538745828384/resources/app/product.json
which turn out to be identical.
So I copied it to
~/.codemix/engine/resources/app/product.json
and then the complaint stopped.

Are you running any anti-virus software, if so, which one? It looks like a case in which scanning could have taken too long, resulting in our extraction not being renamed in time.

Could you shut down Eclipse, and delete the ~/.codemix/engine folder and restart Eclipse, which will force the re-extraction of the engine? If this does not work, shut down Eclipse again, and rename the freshly extracted engine-extract???? folder to engine and then start Eclipse.

Just checking if you were able to resolve this problem using Brian’s suggestions. Its been a long time since your report, and there have been updates to the CodeMix in the meanwhile where we’ve fixed a number of related issues, you could try installing a more recent version.
