Mikelv001MemberHi Octavio-
I’m sure you remember the monster scrolling project that you solved with changing the HTML Generation to ‘remote’. That project worked, and is now selling in the app store.
I have a another similar project that is much smaller, but similar. With this one, I have about 100 nav bars across numerous screens, and in HTML local, everything works fine – test center, ios build, testing on a 4S, etc. The nav bars are gloss because that looks cool, and the scrolling is just a little jumpy. The project isn’t finished, but I’m going to add more bars, so I changed the HTML setting back to ‘remote’ on the main screen. When I do this, the test center and ios build results in a blank screen. When I download to the 4S, the flash screen pops up, but then goes to a blank screen. The ios build is 2102674.
Thoughts?

Mikelv001MemberHey Octavio-
As a follow-up to my post above, I’m having a second problem with map widgets. Like the previous peoject, I have screens with a nav bar navigating to a separate screen with a map widget. With HTML ‘local’, the test center works fine. When I do a build app and actually download to my 4S, the maps don’t work – blank screen (but back button displays). You’ll find that condition in the build # references above. Any ideas?
Thank you for your help-

support-octavioMemberHi Mike,
The build ID you shared lead us to the previous app that we reviewed, is this OK?
Could you share the most recent files (that includes the maps) to investigate? Note that we are doing our best effort to release mobione 2.2, that will leave us less some time to investigate this issue, but we won’t give up 🙂
Mikelv001MemberHey Octavio-
The new one has a similar look/feel – this one is for restaurants, but I think the build # is correct. The previous has a white texture background; the new is black. I’ll rebuild and send you the # later today, and the files- I’ll send you the main page, one reastaurant/list page, one restaurant/detail page and one map rather than dozens of screens.
Thank you for your help 🙂

Mikelv001MemberHi Octavio-
I sent you the files, and the ipa build I just ran is 2132146; please check the problem with maps on separate screens and my first problem noted above-
Thank you for your help-

Mikelv001MemberHey Octavio-
An progress update from the weekend:
I’ve updated mobione, but I haven’t upgraded my 4S, and of course my 5 has the new OS.
1. The map problem is now fixed with the new mobione version in the test center, and on the 4s and 5 and ipad with iOS builds downloaded to the devices.
2. Still have the problem with white/blank screens in the test center and on all devices when HTML arch is toggled to Remote. Scrolling is perfect under Local on the 5, and a little choppy on the 4S – this app has +/- 350 nav bars in gloss across all the screens. The latest build from today is 2155159. Keep in mind this app has a ‘black silk texture’ background and the previous onme you helped with had the similar white background.
Please let me know your thoughts, and keep up the great work 🙂

Any progress or status on my problems? I’d like to get this finished up and sent to the App Store…
Thank you for your help-

support-octavioMemberHi Mike,
We’ve reviewed your last build shared (2155159) but it has been changing. Also, with your provided files we can’t replicate the issue, it might be because is not the whole project. So, please make a copy of your main design, set the default HTML page architecture to Remote Web Page (AJAX), then upload a webapp running the copy file and share the webapp URL, this will let us see all project and you should be able to keep working on original design.
Mikelv001MemberHey Octavio-
It’s getting close to complete, and I’ve run the app with both Remote and Local checked. I’m still seeing all white / no content with Remote, but ok with Local. Here’s the Remote / white the link http://goo.gl/Giqiq
Please let me know what you find-

support-octavioMemberHi Mike,
Seems that the problem is in broken JS file.
http://2point2v2.mobioneappcenter.appspot.com/get/5b9a59694b3c4d1ea4b9eb3479bdac4e/Vegas%20Eats.js
doesn’t return complete file’s content.Could you please look at this JS file (Vega Eats.js) on your computer and compare it with what server returns?
If it’s broken on your computer – could you send the complete set of mobi files to us to reproduce the problem on our side?
Mikelv001MemberHi Octavio-
I’ll be honest, I don’t know how to compare this to what I have on my machine to determine if the file is broken – I don’t know what I’m looking for.
This project is +/- 200 screens; how should I send the screens, or can you think of a way I can troubleshoot it from my side? You can see the organization is segmented – by location, etc. I can run just the location screens by starting the location screen as my main, etc, and finding out where the problem is or breaking all links between nav bars and screen until I find the problem)?
Let me know yout thoughts-
Mike
Mikelv001MemberHey Octavio-
Just send you a zip file with all the screens – let me know what you find; I couldn’t figure it out 🙁
Thank you for your help-
Mike
Mikelv001MemberHi Octavio-
I received your email this morning. I copied the entire app directory I’ve been using for this project to a different location on my PC, and to my laptop, and reran. The result is the same – white screens. I’ve sent you via email the link and a zip file of the entire directory.
Let me know what you think – it’s odd, because if I run just a single screen, or a single restaurant screen with linked map, it runs fine – it’s only when the entire app is run together from the startup screen there’s a problem.
Thank you for your help-
Mike
support-octavioMemberHi Mike,
I have good news for you: the complete project that you shared with us was very helpful to discover the issue. We plan to include a fix for next release that is expected for friday or sooner.
support-octavioMemberHi Mike,
We’ve release 2.2.2 and it include a fix for this issue. Let us know how it goes.
OT: Have you ever posted the URL of your previous app here? If yes, could you post it again? If no, would you like to share it with us?
